We had a blast in Monticello

Jon and Kaylee chose our vacation this summer, Monticello, Utah where there is camping, fishing, and down home cooking crawdads. We did have a few fish, but crawdads was our specialty this year. Jon, of course, showed us how to eat them. After that, no one would try it. Cooking them was mom's least favorite thing to film. Just the thought of throwing something live into a hot pot of water, watching it try to get out, die, flip over, and turn red all ready to enjoy. (That was hard to relive)

We did enjoy going to the Monticello Temple the first night to do baptisms, the wild turkeys, deer, beautiful creation, and just being together with Mike, Sarah, Jon, and Kaylee. In my book there is nothing like going camping!

I love the updated posts. It looks like you guys had a wonderful time. Sorry you got film the strange process of preparing such a creature. I miss fishing. Kaylee is looking so much older. I'm glad Mike and Sarah were there to enjoy the great out doors. Can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks.
